Our Philosophy
At Cowichan Pharmacy, we believe healthcare is personal. Every patient who walks through our doors deserves to be heard, understood, and cared for as an individual — not a number.
Our philosophy is built on three pillars: clinical excellence, genuine relationships, and community commitment. We invest the time to understand your health journey, collaborate with your healthcare team, and provide evidence-based care that makes a measurable difference.
As an independently owned pharmacy, we have the freedom to put patients first — always. No corporate quotas, no rushing through consultations. Just honest, thoughtful pharmacy care.
We stay current with the latest evidence and clinical guidelines to ensure you receive the best possible care.
We take the time to know your name, your story, and your health goals. Your pharmacist is your partner in health.
We live and work in the Cowichan Valley. Serving this community isn't just our job — it's our calling.
Aboriginal Health
Cowichan Pharmacy is located on the traditional and unceded territory of the Quw'utsun (Cowichan) peoples. We are deeply committed to providing culturally safe and respectful healthcare services to Indigenous patients and families in our community.
We work closely with the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) and local band health programs to ensure seamless access to medications, health services, and clinical support. We offer direct billing through FNHA, so there are no out-of-pocket costs for eligible patients.
Our team is committed to ongoing cultural safety training and building meaningful, trust-based relationships with the Indigenous communities we are honoured to serve.
